Claims

In the event your shipment is missing or damaged, please utilize the following steps to file a claim. All claims must be made utilizing the Everts Air Cargo Claim Form in writing using the email address below within fourteen (14) days of receipt. While awaiting inspection by Everts Air Cargo or its agent, the consignee must keep the shipping container, packaging, and its contents in the same condition it was when the damage was discovered. All transportation charges must be pre-paid prior to a claim being considered.

Exceptions

  • Claims for hidden damage or loss discovered by the consignee after leaving the station or facility, must be reported within fourteen (14) days after shipment delivery.
  • All claims and initial contact must include photos of damage, including those of original packaging.
  • While awaiting inspection by Everts Air Cargo or its agent, the consignee must keep the shipping container, packaging, and its contents in the same condition it was when the damage was discovered.
  • Claims for overcharges must be submitted within thirty (30) days of receipt of billing. All Transportation charges must be paid prior to consideration of submitted claim.
