Pilatus PC-12
Pilatus Aircraft was founded in 1939. They built single-engine piston/turbine trainers-transporters and gliders for military and civilian use. In 1987, development work on the PC-12 began, and a proof-of-concept prototype built in 1990 took its first flight on May 31, 1991. Federal Office of Civil Aviation type certification was approved on March 30, 1994, followed by FAA type certification approval on June 15, 1994.
